Why Toastmasters?

Today many people are more comfortable communicating by email or telephone than communicating face-to-face. Speaking to large or small groups, or even one-to-one, may be intimidating or frightening.

In Toastmasters you learn how to successfully formulate, express and present your ideas and yourself and get rid of that nervousness you feel when called upon to speak. You improve your ability to listen to and evaluate other people's ideas. In addition to communication skills, you build leadership skills when you organize and conduct Club meetings and motivate others to help you.
