Congratulations to the winners of the Area 19 International Speech and Evaluators Contests. Bernadine Chapman (Voices in Unity Club 1291) gave a moving speech in the International Speech Contest and was awarded 1st Place. Lisa Vaughn (Voices in Unity Club 1291) won 1st place in the Evaluation Contest and Mary Larner (Rent-A-Toast Club 8399) 2nd place. Winners at the area-level contests represent their clubs at the Division F Contests on April 19. Winners at the division-level contests will compete at the District 8 Spring Conference May 9-10.

Congratulations to all the contestants! Humorous Speech Contest winners are as follows: 1st Place to Steve Hughes, County Communicators Club and 2nd Place to Mary Larner, Rent-A-Toast. In the Table Topics competition, first place was awarded to Paul Peterson, Midtown Clayton, and 2nd place to Leanne Waugh, Rent-A-Toast.
